Chelsey and I's calendar has been pretty full lately.
Work trips, appointments, weddings, family reunions, baby showers…we are blessed to live a full life.
At lunch today we were reflecting how grateful we are to have had the opportunity to experience these events with people we love.
So I thought I'd create Power Acronym that encapsulates this.

Work and Love - two simple words that make up so much of life.
Finding fulfillment in each of these domains is one of life's ultimate quests. As such, it isn't always easy.
I've worked jobs and been in relationships where I didn't always feel the love.
Nobody is promised an easy life when we enter the world and it would be wrong to assume anyone else has had it easier than another, regardless of what parts of life we see.
Different, yes.
But easier? Not sure.
Whenever times get tough and I'm worn down by the problems I have I try to remember that trading my life with someone else's would give me the problems I know nothing about.
And I'm sure there are problems I have that other people would like to have.
Travel opens the mind to new possibilities and helps us zoom out and see life from a different perspective.
But we don't have to jump on a plane to do that.
T.R.A.V.E.L. reminds me of the quote “What you appreciate, appreciates”.
And that can be done right where you are.
Two additional quotes worth pondering:
"Love requires tenacity and grit. It's work. It's the most difficult thing I've ever done. So when people say, 'Love shouldn't be this hard,' I think, Why not? We get so much from our most important relationships -- it makes sense that we have to invest a lot of time, effort, and some serious self-reflection into them." - Brene Brown
"Work at its best, then, is about connection, engagement, and commitment. As the poet Kahlil Gibran said, 'Work is love made visible." - Jonathan Haidt
