There's a home video of little, 4-5 year old me holding a garden hose while the family was washing the car and hanging out back in the 90’s.
Old home movies are treasures because of how rare they are and the patina they have - true relics of the past.
Fast forward to today and we have 4k cameras with full suites of production and imaging tools in our pocket.
I've recorded hundreds (probably closer to 1,000+) of videos over the course of my career.
There's an amazing amount of videos available to watch.
But the real power exists in what can happen when you create.

Engaging
Content
It's the engagement with life itself.
Something happens when we press record.
Our awareness increases, everything we say - or don't - matters more because it's on record.
I've deleted sooo many videos.
There are many that still exist that have clips I'd rather not ever see or hear again.
“I hate the sound of my voice” is something I've heard many people say and I have experienced myself.
There's nothing wrong with your voice. You're just not used to hearing it in that way. But you'll get more comfortable, if you press record.
But I'm happy to have had that experience, as it helped me improve how I communicate and my knowledge of what I'm communicating about.
When I say Record Engaging Content, I don't necessarily mean content that gets engagement on social platforms, but it's part of it.
More than that I focus on recording (in audio, video, and written form) content that engages the audience and myself.
I do this by sharing information that engages me.
It's far easier to share something you are passionate about.
So, what engages you?
What could you press record about and share with others who may also have interest?
Could you make it so engaging that it inspires someone to become interested?
Engage with life.
Share it with others.
Live abundantly.
Press Record.
